Start AI chat, use workspace and project context, and manage history, sharing, and branches.
In Lyyli, regular AI chat is for quick ideation and drafting—Planning is a separate surface for larger campaigns.
When to use regular chat
- You need a fast answer or tight iteration on one topic
- You want the thread tied to a workspace and project so context badges update in the top bar
- You want to try different language models (Growth/Professional) including multi-model comparison
Message tree, save to content, and regenerate
- Use Branch from here to start an alternative path from a reply without overwriting the original thread
- Use Save to content from message actions when you want to append or replace text on a content card
- Use Regenerate when you want another take on the same prompt
Share and delete
Top-of-thread controls let you share the conversation with another user in the same workspace or delete it. Sharing is always explicit—teammates should not assume access to every thread.
Tips
Point the model at the exact change
Reference the precise sentence or decision you want revised; it beats resending the whole prompt. For backlog or campaign-wide planning, switch to Planning.
Common issues
A colleague cannot see the chat
Confirm you used share with that person and that they have the right workspace access. Workspace membership does not automatically expose every conversation.
Model controls are unavailable
Single and multi-model modes depend on plan and tenant settings. If controls are greyed out, check your subscription or ask an administrator.
