Getting started
Ground rules and checklist
All
Know five key ground rules, understand responsibility for content and privacy, and use the first-use checklist.
In communications, even a small mistake can spread quickly. These rules keep responsibility in your hands. This article completes the easy setup path.
1. You are always the publisher
Lyyli makes a suggestion. You decide what gets published. Always read the content before publishing.
2. Check the facts
AI can make mistakes. If content covers laws, statistics, financial figures, decisions, research, or other people's statements — verify the information from the original source before publishing. You can also instruct Lyyli to prefer reliable sources.
3. Do not feed unnecessary personal data
Do not bring sensitive personal data into Lyyli without a justified need — for example customer lists with personal details, health data, national IDs, payment data, or private conversations. Rule of thumb: if you do not need personal data to create the message, do not give it to Lyyli.
4. Be open about AI use when needed
AI is a normal part of ideation, editing, and drafting. Be especially careful when producing realistic images, video, or audio. Do not use AI for misleading content. Follow your organization's, platforms', and legal rules on labeling AI-generated content.
5. Paid advertising is different from a regular post
If you use Lyyli-produced content in paid advertising, follow transparency and labeling requirements as well as your organization's and the platforms' advertising rules. Responsibility for the ad stays with you and your organization — even when Lyyli helped produce it.
Security in Lyyli
Lyyli is built for organizational use. Controls include access rights, workspace isolation, encryption, and logging. Customer content is not used to train AI models. Current public claims and boundaries are on the Trust page.
Responsibility stays with the user
Security controls do not remove the user's responsibility for what data is entered into the service.
First-use checklist
- I have created my workspace.
- Workspace visibility is correct.
- I have defined my main audiences.
- I have defined 3–5 key themes.
- I have told Lyyli how I want to sound.
- I have created a first test post.
- The test post sounds enough like me / us.
- I have added my main web sources, or I know how to do it later.
- Team access rights are in order (if you share the workspace).
- I know I check content and facts myself before publishing.
Ready for daily use
When these are done, Lyyli is ready for daily use.
What do you gain by using Lyyli?
Ideas and content often appear in many places. Without a shared system, drafts end up in chat, email, notes, and people's heads. Lyyli gathers that work in one place.
- Keeps important themes consistent
- Turns ideas into publishable content faster
- Creates channel versions from the same topic
- Plans communications ahead
- Requests comments without endless threads
- Keeps communication moving on busy days
Lyyli does not make communication perfect. It makes it manageable and possible.
